Wedding Poems
Nothing could be more perfectly matched to the blessed celebrations on your wedding day than wedding poems. Some of the greatest writers have found pleasure in setting free the love in their hearts through poetry. At once lyrical and fanciful, highly personal and universal, inspirational and confessional, the poetry of love speaks truths to a bride and groom difficult to express in any other way.
Wedding poems may be read by the groom to the bride or by the bride to the groom. A dear friend, a parent, a minister or perhaps a child may make gifts of poems, spoken on the occasion or presented as gifts. A page of deeply personal poetic thoughts, whether original or found in a book, written out on special paper in an elegant envelope make a gift to be remembered and cherished forever.
Writing your own poetry to be read as part of your vows is one of the most romantic things you can possibly do to bring a tear of love and happiness to the cheek of your beloved. This is not as difficult to do as you might think. Remember that you really have an audience of just one person, and that person loves you more than any other in the whole world. Let your heart sing on the page for this special day and don't worry about it being great literature. It's from you and that's all that counts.
Whatever their source, gifts of beautiful, inspirational romantic wedding poems are some of the most perfect gifts you can receive on your special day.

Hawaii State Marriage License
Obtaining a marriage license on Kauai is a very simple process. There are no blood tests required and no paperwork that must be sent in advance of your scheduled license appointment. Here are the requirements to obtain a license:
- There are no residence or citizenship requirements.
- Legal age to marry is 18 years for bride and groom.
- Proper identification for bride and groom (driver's license / picture ID) required.
- There is no waiting period. You are free to marry once the license is obtained.
You both will need to appear before a marriage license agent with proper photo identification and pay a fee. The marriage license application is a simple one page form that needs to be completed by both the bride and groom. The license agent will verify all information on the form and issue the marriage license, which is good for 30 days in the State of Hawaii.
You will need to obtain the marriage license in Hawaii prior to your scheduled wedding.

Wedding Insurance
If your idea of the perfect wedding is going barefoot on the sand with few people in attendance, then you needn’t read any further. If, however, the wedding of your dreams involves a ceremony with six or more attendants, a sit-down dinner for 200 guests and an open bar, perhaps you should consider wedding insurance.
Wedding insurance will cover your losses if bad weather, airport delays, a military call-up, or a sudden illness prevents you or your intended from getting to the church on time. If your caterer is shut down by the local health department, most insurance policies will cover the extra cost of finding a last minute vendor to feed your guests.
The policy will also cover lost or damaged formalwear, photography mishaps, stolen or damaged wedding gifts and sudden death or illness. Premiums can range from $95 to $1,000 depending on the size of your wedding and the level of coverage you buy. Many major insurance carriers offer wedding insurance.
